Certified Nurse Aide -90 hrs
A comprehensive training course for Nurse Aide, enabling them to receive the basic nurse aide knowledge and skills needed to care for residents in Long Term Care Facilities while assuring the responsibilities of a trained caregiver.
***Upon successful completion of the (CNA) program each graduate will be eligible to test for the New Jersey State Certification Examination for ancillary Care in Long Term Care Facilities.

This course is designed only for Certified Nurse Aides with current certification per the New Jersey Borad of Nursing regulation. Dual certification can be obtained by first completing and approved CNA course and then take the special 10-hour Homemaker Home Health Aide Module and receive full certification as a Homemaker
This course focuses on teaching Home Health Care students to be efficient, sensitive and above all caring, members of the health-care team. The CHHA after completing this course will be able to make good decisions based on objective observation such as critical thinking skills and timely reporting events to their immediate supervisor.

Certified Medication Aide-40 hrs
Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for administering medication under circumstances when a Registered Professional Nurse delegates this task. Delegation of medication administration task to a Certified Medication Aide may only occur in Assisted Living Residences, comprehensive Personal Care Homes or only as a part of an Assisted Living Program. Only qualified Certified Nurse Aides, Certified Homemaker/Home Health Aides and Certified Personnel Care Assistants are eligible to take this course.
